Grey gelding foaled in 2002 stands 16.2 hands and weighs 1200 lbs.

 

Eyes Open - si 83 - From 8 starts

 

A son of the great Mr Eye Opener (si 106) by Dash for Cash (si 104) and Bedawee (si 92).  His dam is a thoroughbred mare Vassana by Northern Flagship by Northern Dancer.

 

Born and lightly raced in Arkansas as a 2 year old he then moved to Saskatchewan where he was lightly raced as a 3 year old.  Started on barrels summer of 2007 and is high loping a solid pattern.  Very laid back and willing to accept any challenges presented.  Marengo is a gentle giant that loves people.  Catch him anywhere - in fact try to get away from him.  He is ready for the advancement that seasoning provides.

 

Back at the Races!!!

 

Due to our busy competitive schedule and numerous young prospects, we have decided to send Marengo back to the track for the summer.   He will resume barrel training this fall.
