“Chicks”

 

Chestnut mare foaled in 1989 stands 15 hands and weighs 1200 lbs.

 

This mare was purchased from a reining breeder in Colorado owner of Hanks Highroller who goes back to the great Tonto Bars Hank (see the Western Horseman Legends Volume 4) the AAA grandson of Three Bars and also the first horse to win $100,000.00 racing. As a 3 year old Tonto Bars Hank was AAA 29 times out of 30 starts.

Chicks was the 18th foal for her dam Troubles Mitzy who goes back to Parkers Trouble out of Ed Echols a renowned racing, roping and reining sire.

 

In training Chicks was willing and eager to perform with speed but also a laid back attitude.  She passes these traits onto her offspring regardless the cross.
