Welcome to the Copper Penny Barrel Racers official web site.

 

The 2009 Copper Penny Series wrapped up September 20th on schedule, with competitors and mounts going home well rewarded for their efforts.  Everyone appeared to have a great time including the organizers and volunteers. 

The support we are receiving from the oil companies is fantastic and I am sure we all agree, very much appreciated.    We would like to thank all of our 2009 sponsors CNRL, Enerplus, Plains Midsream, Lorrill Waschuk, Aardvark Welding, County of Leduc grant by Village of New Sarepta, Lomheim Saddlery,  Blacktof Angus Farms and  Robert and Sandy Hood.  Competitors ensure that you thank the sponsors so they continue to support us in the future.  Thanks to all of our supporters!

 

A thanks to those that have attended and helped us keep our facility clean.  It is much appreciated.  A special thanks to those of you who took the time to help out when you attended!  It did not go unnoticed.

3.         Horse and rider combination must attend 60% of series to be eligible for series prizes.   Must attend final day to receive prizes.

2010 series is booked and the awards have been purchased.  I hope you all thanked your sponsors as we depend upon them to ensure our series continues. We are “beating the bushes” for sponsorship so if you have any ideas let us know.  So far we have Aardvark Welding,  Enerplus  and our new sponsor Sammys Snack Shack for our 2010 sponsors.
